Northern Michigan Supply Alliance
Jointly owned by Munson Healthcare and Trinity Health, the Northern Michigan Supply Alliance (NMSA) performs all supply chain management functions for Munson Healthcare hospitals and entities. From critical medical supplies to freshly-laundered linens, NMSA purchases, manages, and delivers everything needed to maintain high quality health care in northern Michigan.
Our Three-Part Mission
- We provide excellent logistical service to our customers, which include Munson Healthcare owned and affiliated hospitals and entities. Logistical service includes all processes necessary to procure, receive, and distribute supplies to appropriate users within our customer facilities.
- We help manage the non-labor spending of our customers. We ensure our customers make the most cost-efficient purchasing and supply management decisions possible through our product selection and sourcing, order processing, supply chain information system, and finance professionals.
- We provide access to cost-efficient ancillary supply chain needs, such as the print shop, record storage, courier, and transportation of supplies, linen, and equipment. NMSA also works closely with MSS Linen to provide cost-efficient and convenient linen services to hospitals and health care providers throughout northern Michigan.
